Senior Finance and Accounting Manager

A sizeable multinational design house with 30+ global offices is looking for an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager urgently.

Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting

1. Oversee Hong Kong and regional finance operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across multiple entities.
2. Lead month-end and periodic close processes, maintaining adherence to accounting standards, policies, and streamlined digital workflows.
3. Monitor financial performance through management reporting and data analytics, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
4. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
5. Strengthen internal control frameworks, including automated and system-driven controls, to safeguard financial integrity and operational effectiveness.
6. Identify and proactively escalate financial and operational risks, partnering with senior management on mitigation strategies.
7. Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies to support business growth and scalability.
8. Support strategic initiatives, finance transformation projects, and other business priorities as required.
9. Partner with technology and development teams to support system enhancements, digitalization, and AI initiatives, ensuring solutions align with finance operations and business requirements.
10. Assess the operational impact of new tools and process changes, leading user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and successful implementation across finance teams.
11. Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, standardization, automation, and enhanced data visibility to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
3. 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably with regional and multi-entity responsibilities.
4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and internal controls across multiple jurisdictions.
5. Experience in finance transformation, process automation, digital finance platforms, or AI-enabled reporting is highly desirable.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
7. Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience collaborating across functions and regions.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.
