The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining customer's enterprise-level network infrastructures. The role involves working closely with project teams and customer to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient network solutions as part of system integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan network architectures including LAN and WAN networks.
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices most on L2/3 switches.
- Monitor network performance and optimize for high availability and reliability
- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions, including firmware updates
- Create and maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, configuration records, and operation manuals
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver customer network deployment solutions according to requirements
- Assist in the development and enforcement of network security policies (e.g., VLAN segmentation, VPN setup, intrusion detection)
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols
- Relevant certifications, IE level is preferred
- At least 5 years experience, preferred experienced in SI project
- Familiarity with enterprise or data center network environments is an advantage
- Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin is a must
- Proactive, analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Willingness to work on-call during nights or weekends to support projects if needed
- Strong teamwork and client communication skills
