Manager, IT (ODC Management)

Responsibilities:

• Support IT Leadership team to define and execute the overall Offshore Development Centre (ODC) strategy, including the planning, development and implementation of the second ODC. Provide holistic review of the ODC status / performance and recommend continuous improvement areas

• Build up and maintain the business relationship with ODC partner(s). Function as the major contact point between IT colleagues and ODC team and ensure a trusted partnership between AA and ODC team

• Work closely with ODC to define/review the project pipeline and ensure necessary resources with the right skill is ready to deliver project timely

• Oversee the ODC application development and maintenance cost, ensure the cost efficiency

• Work closely with other IT governance parties (e.g. Cybersecurity, Management Services, Infrastructure) to ensure ODC offshore office and working practice is strictly follow AA IT standards

• Define all the necessary processes / templates for IT department to follow and proactively fine-tune the deliverables to meet the new requirements

• Define the overall ODC performance management framework, execution and report the results and findings in the ODC Steering Committee

• Provide supervision to the Assistant Manager, IT (ODC Management Office) to resolve day-to-day issues

• Other PMO activities assigned by supervisor
  

Requirements:

• University Degree or equivalence in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology/ Systems/ Business Administration, or related disciplines

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, Agile Scrum Master certifications, User Experience, Design Thinking or equivalent certifications preferred

• 8 years or more IT experience with at least 6 years on day-to-day management, planning, design, development of IT project management office (PMO) or similar experience

• Experience in managing ODC or similar organization setup is preferred

• Experience in project management / delivery is preferred

• Mature, self-motivated, customer-oriented with excellent communication and project management skill

• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
