Job Description

In this role, you will play a key part in the daytoday review of individual claims and the investigation of suspicious activities. You will also support governance and documentation within the BAU operating model, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will own and maintain SOPs, manuals, and related documentation to support operational excellence.

Position Responsibilities

Claims Operations

  • Assess and review escalated and suspicious Individual claims of various claim types.
  • Revamp and update SOPs for PA, Group and Individual Claims teams to ensure alignment with the latest SOP guidelines from Regional Office.
  • Maintain the compliance-related claims manual to keep guidelines aligned with the latest requirements.
  • Support team leads by joining meetings of cross-functional initiatives with BA/IT for prioritization, requirement gathering, and implementation tracking.
  • Support company and departmental initiatives.

Reporting & Governance

  • Collaborate with team leads, collect information, study and prepare for regular management rep orting.
  • Deliver regular performance tracking reports for strategic projects.
  • Support team head to handle KPI targets review.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree holder or above
  • 5 - 7 years of claims experience in Individual Life Business
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. FLMI, ICA) are preferred
  • Able to work independently under tight schedule
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of English, Chinese and Mandarin, both spoken and written
