Responsibilities And Tasks
- Product Engineering for Low Power DRAM (LPDDR) products supporting Mobile, Automotive, and Data Center applications
- Develop and maintain test flows to ensure specification compliance and to improve yield and quality throughout NPI and HVM phases
- Perform failure analysis through data mining, tester analysis, and silicon characterization
- Drive and implement rootcause fixes in collaboration with Circuit Design and Fab Process teams
- Validate circuit functionality and electrical performance across different operating conditions
- Support NPI activities, including bringup, characterization, and crosssite handover
- Own LPDDRspecific validation items (e.g., power, timing margin, IDD, trainingrelated behaviors)
- Support yield ramp and issue containment during early production phases
Required Skills
- Strong electrical testing skills using ATE platforms
- Solid Electrical Engineering fundamentals
- Experience with data mining and yield analysis
- Good understanding of IC design and semiconductor devices
- Programming capability: Python is preferred
- Familiarity with LPDDR architecture and JEDEC specifications is a strong plus
- Experience in test data analysis automation or scripting is highly desirable
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing organizations
- Work with Micron Memory Japan and US Product Engineering teams
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Process Integration, Application Engineering, and Test Solutions teams
- Participate in crosssite technical alignment and handover between Taiwan, Japan, and other global teams
Education
- Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Desired: Background in VLSI, Semiconductor Physics, or Nanotechnology
- Preferred: Japanese language capability is a plus
