Job Description

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world's largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

TSMC is looking for a digital transformation engineer in logistics transportation field to work on optimizing cost-efficiency, smart operations and green transportation. As this role, you will not only re-engineer automatic operations through digital technologies, but also help us achieve supply chain excellence by continually improvement projects/tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Reinforce concrete domain knowledge through daily operation handling, such as shipment arrangement, payment operations, Customs clearance/audit/trade law compliance, logistics service provider KPI management.

2. Review existing processes and identify areas of improvement to achieve logistics model excellence.

3. Assist with the development of new fit-for-purpose digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and service level.

4. Champion the digital transformation tools and conduct training to relevant parties.

5. Develop global logistics network and local regulation compliance solutions.

Job Qualifications:

Education & Skills

1. BS/MA of Supply Chain, Logistics & Transportation Management, Statistics, IE, IT and related fields.

2. Fluent in spoken and written languages skills for both Chinese and English. Japanese and German is a plus.

3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead cross functional projects.

4. Experience in data flow automation, machine learning, AI project.

5. Familiarity with development of C#, C/C++ or JAVA Programming, or Python, R, VBA, SQL database programming.
