Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Asset Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT equipment, from initial procurement and imaging to secure decommissioning and e-waste disposal (ITAD).
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for global shipping, receiving, and inventory auditing.
- Manage a multi-million dollar IT asset, providing quarterly review and variance analysis to senior leadership.
2. Global Trade & Compliance
- Act as the subject matter expert for International Trade Compliance, managing Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR) processes.
- Ensure all shipments comply with HTS/ECCN classifications and local tax/customs regulations (VAT, GST, etc.).
- Mitigate risks related to transit delays, customs seizures, and shipping damage.
3. Vendor & Carrier Management
- Negotiate contracts and SLAs with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers, freight forwarders, and various hardware vendors.
- Conduct regular Business Reviews to ensure vendors meet performance and security standards.
4. Technical Operations & Tools
- Administer and optimize IT Asset Management (ITAM) software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Manage logistics data with ERP systems and ITSM platforms to ensure single source of truth data accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 710 years in logistics or supply chain, with at least 5 years specifically focused on IT hardware or High-Tech sectors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in ERP (Oracle Netsuite) preferred.
- Certifications: PMP, CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or CITAM (Certified IT Asset Manager) preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to define and track KPIs such as Inventory Accuracy Rate, Mean Time to Deploy, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
