Job Description

About the Role

Uber Direct is one of the key logistics technology providers in Taiwan, enabling merchants to unlock last-mile delivery through their own channels while providing logistics partners with reliable and scalable supply. As we continue to build and expand our Direct Logistics business-including mid-mile transportation, last-mile fleets, and warehouse operations-we are looking for operators who can drive both strategy and execution.

As the Logistics Strategy & Project Manager, you will lead the strategic growth and scaling of the Direct Logistics business. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for expanding logistics capabilities across mid-mile, last-mile, and micro-hub infrastructure, while ensuring strong OKR governance and alignment with merchant expansion goals.

This role requires close collaboration with onsite operations teams, fleet vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders. You will partner closely with Sales and Account Management teams to define expansion priorities and translate them into executable project roadmaps and monthly milestones.

What You'll Do

Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

 • Lead Logistics PMO and manage end-to-end timelines across all logistics initiatives

 • Drive alignment across Delivery Solutions, Network Operations, and Commercial teams

 • Ensure coordination across Product, Process, and Recruitment to successfully execute logistics programs

Strategic Planning & Performance Management

 • Define and execute long-term logistics growth strategy

 • Own Logistics OKRs and contribute to P&L management for the vertical

 • Analyze operational performance and provide data-driven insights, with a focus on optimizing Cost per Trip (CpT) and efficiency

New Capability & Model Deployment

 • Lead the rollout of new logistics capabilities, including mid-mile networks and distribution centers (DCs)

 • Establish new customer service models for logistics operations

 • Drive implementation of value-added services such as cash on delivery, returns, and scheduled delivery

 • Evaluate long-term opportunities including M&A and new operating models

Future Logistics & Product Development

 • Design and develop future logistics infrastructure, including fleet and warehouse models

 • Define strategy for non-logistics fleet expansion and utilization

 • Identify and deploy innovative logistics solutions to shape the future of Uber Direct operations

Basic Qualifications

 • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategy & operations, project management, product management, consulting, or a related field

 • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or fleet management is a plus

 • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

 • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to senior stakeholders

 • Proven stakeholder management experience across cross-functional teams

 • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end projects in fast-paced environments

 • Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

 • Strong understanding of the logistics industry landscape, including key players and competitive dynamics

 • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and comfort operating in ambiguity

 • Track record of proposing and executing innovative solutions to complex operational challenges

 • Strong ownership mentality with willingness to take calculated risks to drive impact

About Company

Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.
The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
