Job Description
- Lead and steer hardware R&D projects from concept to mass production, ensuring alignment with global payment industry roadmaps and strict delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Software, Firmware, and Product teams to define next-generation hardware specifications.
- Oversee the end-to-end hardware development process, including schematic design, high-density layout, prototyping, and rigorous reliability testing.
- Ensure all hardware designs strictly adhere to international payment security standards.
- Drive innovative hardware solutions to enhance RF sensitivity (NFC/4G/5G), power efficiency
- Provide high-level technical guidance and mentorship to the EE and RF engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and out-of-the-box problem-solving.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Hardware R&D Manager should have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hardware development and project management within the technology and telecoms industry.
- Strong knowledge of hardware design, prototyping, and testing processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in hardware development.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to solve technical challenges and implement innovative solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
