Description & Requirements
The APAC Product Creation team is responsible for bringing innovative and guest-centric products to life, partnering across Design, Merchandising, Technical Development, Quality, Sourcing, and Production teams from concept through commercialization. We work closely with regional and global partners to deliver high-quality products that meet guest needs while balancing product performance, quality, speed to market, and business objectives.
As a highly collaborative and fast-paced team, we manage the end-to-end product creation process, including product development, sourcing, costing, fit and wear testing, quality management, production readiness, and commercialization. We partner closely with our vendor network across Asia to drive innovation, solve complex product challenges, and ensure products are successfully launched into bulk production.
- Assist in launching development requests, sample tracking, and maintaining development timelines.
- Coordinate proto, fit and production sample requests with vendors and cross functional team that adheres to GTM deliverables & development timeline
- Organize and track development comments, approvals, and action items.
- Support fit sessions and help document fit comments and development updates.
- Complete and manage style BOM initiation,product specifications, and PLM records
- Maintain data integrity in Flex PLM and other relevant systems
- Support Product Developers and Senior Product Developers on seasonal product development from concept through production readiness.
- Work closely with vendors and sourcing partners to track material availability and sample status.
- Follow up on development risks, material delays, and production concerns.
- Assist in trims, fabrics, and construction solutions that support product performance, quality, and cost targets.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with vendor partners.
- Collect and consolidate cost information from vendors.
- Support seasonal costing reviews and cost analysis.
- Track cost changes throughout development and highlight potential risks.
- Assist the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product integrity and quality.
- Assist with quality issue tracking, root cause investigation, and corrective action follow-up.
- Support production readiness activities and commercialization milestones.
- Partner with Quality, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure smooth product handover into bulk production.
- Monitor production risks and escalate issues when necessary.
- Help ensure products meet brand quality standards and performance expectations.
- Assist in managing PR releases with following up HOD.
- Support ad hoc projects and strategic.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion, Textile, Apparel Merchandising, Product Development, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, Production, or a related apparel industry function.
- Experience working with woven and knit cut & sew garments preferred.
- Experience in activewear, sportswear, or lifestyle apparel is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with PLM systems (Flex PLM preferred) is a plus.
- Familiarity with garment construction, costing, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to analyze data and manage multiple trackers simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
