Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst (Level 1) to join the IT/BA team for a major insurance project. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into effective system and process solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in insurance administration, process design, and data analysis, ensuring solutions align with business goals, timelines, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and analyze user requirements, design business process flows, and propose system solutions

Collaborate with developers and testers to validate solutions, define test cases, and support UAT

Evaluate and prioritize business requirements based on cost-benefit and strategy

Provide documentation, training, and first-line support for users

Ensure system delivery meets quality, cost, and schedule targets; assist in rollout and post-go-live support

Maintain compliance with information security policies

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Management, IT, or related field

Minimum 5 years experience in insurance operations, process planning, or system analysis

At least 3 years experience in insurance system analysis and process design

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and UML

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills

Excellent communication and documentation in Mandarin and English

Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams
