Your Role
We are currently seeking a professional to lead and execute lighting operations across a diverse range of studio productions. This role demands technical excellence, creative problem-solving, and leadership in managing lighting setups for live broadcasts, recorded shows, and special events.
- Design, set up, and operate professional lighting systems for studio productions.
- Collaborate with producers, and lighting team to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
- Lead and supervise lighting operators and freelance crew during productions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lighting equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Manage lighting equipment, rigging plans, and documentation for each production.
- Stay updated with the latest lighting technologies and industry trends.
- Support studio infrastructure upgrades and contribute to technical planning.
To Succeed in this Role
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in studio lighting operations.
- Strong knowledge of lighting consoles (e.g. GrandMA) and DMX protocols.
- Experience with LED, tungsten, and intelligent lighting fixtures.
- Experience in multi-camera studio environments.
- Knowledge of video and audio integration with lighting systems.
- Familiarity with studio workflows, broadcast standards, and safety regulations.
- Creativity in lighting design for different genres (e.g. talk shows, game shows, music performance).
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced production environments.
- Relevant technical certifications or training in lighting systems is a plus.
