Java Developer

About the Role

Our client, a leading global financial institution, is undergoing a major cloud transformation initiative and is looking for a Java Developer to help modernization in the cloud space.

You will contribute to the evolution of legacy systems into modern cloud-native solutions, working on highly scalable applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Participate in application modernization initiatives.
• Develop RESTful services and backend components.
• Perform code reviews and implement engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and business teams.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Java fundamentals.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience with Git and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in financial services companies
• Kafka or event-driven architecture experience.
• Hadoop, Spark, or big data technologies.
• Microservices architecture.
• DevOps and CI/CD exposure.
