| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To design and develop software applications to meet organisational needs, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements |
| (b) | To test, debug, and maintain systems to ensure functionality, performance and reliability and |
| (c) | To integrate new systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | (i) | A recognised higher diploma in a relevant discipline, plus 1 year's relevant work experience OR |
| (ii) | A recognised diploma or higher certificate in a relevant discipline, plus at least 2 years relevant work experience |
| (Applicants with a recognised higher diploma in a relevant discipline but less experience may also apply.) |
| (b) | Ability to work independently and be a good team player and |
| (c) | Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese. |

| (2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (3) | The appointees may be required to perform shift duties or work in irregular working hours and at different work locations on a need basis. |
| (4) | Appointees may be posted to any operational units of the VTC, for example a campus / centre, to carry out similar duties, and have different post titles which are subject to change at the Council's discretion. |
