Job Description

The applicant must possess

The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is inviting university students to join our Internship Programme to gain working experience in a statutory body which serves the construction industry in Hong Kong.

During the Internship Programme which will last for a minimum of 6-8 weeks, interns will be assigned to work in one of our business units. Through guidance from supervisors and participation in daily operations and/or projects, interns will gain the knowledge, experience and exposure which are beneficial to them to start their career.

Interns who demonstrate high performance and potential may be considered for conditional offers of full-time or part-time positions with CIC.

  1. Currently be pursuing a degree at a local or overseas university
  2. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese and
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing.
  5. Understanding of technology, digital tools, or AI applications would be an advantage.

Duties include
  1. to support the daily operation of one of CIC's business units
  2. to assist in events and promotion activities of CIC in Hong Kong and/or the Greater Bay Area and
  3. to participate in the implementation and coordination of assigned projects.
