This role is a key regional leadership position focused on driving compliant, people-centered HR operations across an international environment. You will act as the local subject-matter expert, ensuring employment practices align with regulatory requirements while delivering a seamless employee and customer experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate complex HR and compliance topics into clear, actionable guidance. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, supporting the full employee lifecycle. Accountabilities
- Oversee and execute HR operations across the full employee and customer lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll changes, benefits administration, transfers, and offboarding
- Serve as the regional expert on local employment compliance, ensuring processes are accurate, scalable, and clearly communicated
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to align HR operations with business needs
- Provide practical, compliant guidance on complex employee relations and customer HR matters, managing risk thoughtfully
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local legal, HR, and compliance experts to stay ahead of regulatory changes
- Create clear documentation, tools, and HR-related content to support internal teams and external customers
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall experience
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional HR experience managing compliant, people-focused operations in a regional or international context
- Proven experience handling complex HR compliance and employee relations matters with legal risk awareness
- Strong ability to balance competing priorities across customer support and operational projects
- Experience creating standard operating procedures and clear user documentation
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance within an HR environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and accountability in fast-changing environments
- Bonus points for experience with multi-country operations, employer-of-record models, payroll and benefits administration, HR tools, or multilingual fluency
