Overview
The Intern, Planning/Supply Chain will support demand planning, supply planning, and operational analytics activities. The intern will gain practical experience in semiconductor supply chain management, including wafer starts, OSAT coordination, inventory tracking, and demand forecasting for Wireless and IoT products.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
- Demand & Supply Planning Support
- Assist in weekly demand forecast consolidation
- Support supply planning analysis (wafer starts, WIP, finished goods)
- Help maintain planning models and inventory tracking files
- Perform data reconciliation between ERP and planning spreadsheets
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Generate weekly KPI dashboards (Inventory Turns, DOS, OTIF)
- Analyze backlog vs. supply gaps
- Support build plan simulations and what-if scenarios
- Conduct data cleanup and master data validation
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Support communication with Foundry partners (wafer supply status), OSAT partners (assembly & test output tracking), and Sales / Business Units (forecast updates)
- Assist in preparation of materials for S&OP meetings
- Process Improvement
- Identify manual tasks suitable for automation
- Improve reporting templates
- Document planning processes and SOP updates

Qualifications (Requirements)
- Candidates should be seeking a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in any discipline or a related field or equivalent
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication skills, fluent in English
- Able to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week
- Must be legally authorized to work in Taiwan without restriction
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history
- Must be 18 years of age or older
