Our Team

You will be a key member of the JAPAC Industry Solutions team, working with a senior group of cybersecurity and AI practitioners, focused on proactive technical business development across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. The primary focus is to lead technical engagements with mature AI adopters around Artificial Intelligence - helping them adopt Secure AI by Design strategies.

Your Career

As a Industry Principal - AI, you will be a primary technical authority on securing agentic systems and large-scale model ecosystems across JAPAC. Your core focus is to work with a curated set of high value customers across verticals to accelerate AI Security, be an industry authority on emerging AI trends and innovations and drive influence with industry bodies and communities.

Your Impact

• Lead Technical Engagement: Drive outcomes with the region's most mature AI adopters, helping them integrate robust security principles into their advanced AI deployments..
• Advance Secure AI by Design: Collaborate with enterprise engineering and security leaders to design secure frameworks for autonomous AI agents, tool integration, and model supply chains.
• Drive Portfolio Pull-Through: Translate customer business outcomes into clear technical requirements, designing industry-leading AI security architectures and strategies aligned with the Palo Alto Networks platform strategy.
• Establish Industry Presence: Represent the team at major regional forums and cybersecurity communities, presenting technical perspectives on agentic attack surfaces and autonomous model protection.
• Provide Field Feedback: Serve as a direct bridge between early adopter customer requirements and global engineering teams to influence future platform features and innovation.

Your Experience

• Deep Technical Expertise: A minimum of 15 years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a recent dedicated focus on large language models and agentic frameworks.
• Expertise in AI Systems: Proven understanding of and hands-on experience with agentic AI architectures and implementations.
• Enterprise Leadership: Demonstrated success in a senior technical role such as Principal Technologist, AI Architect, or a key technical business development position interfacing directly with CIOs, CISOs, and Chief Data Officers.
• Platform Architecture Skills: Strong track record of analyzing complex corporate tech stacks and orchestrating technical teams to design and validate comprehensive platform solutions.
• Executive Presence: Exceptional capability to articulate complex technical risks regarding autonomous systems into clear business impact, operational roadmaps, and executive narratives.
• Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
