The PEGA DESIGN team in Taipei is seeking bold, visionary designers from around the world to bring fresh perspectives to our studio. We are currently inviting applications for our
Industrial Designer Global Program.
Industrial Designer (Global Talent Program)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: BA or MFA in Industrial Design or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related industry (excluding internships). Experience working with major global brands is highly preferred.
- Creative Excellence: A highly motivated team player with exceptional conceptual thinking and advanced sketching skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong awareness of global design and cultural trends. Ability to conduct independent research and translate design analysis into actionable strategies.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid foundation in design management and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, material limitations, cost management, and value-added design.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and an open-minded approach to embracing new workplace cultures.
- Organization: Self-motivated, well-organized, and proficient in industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite, Creo/Pro-E, KeyShot, etc.).
Role & Responsibilities
Candidates will contribute to both high-level conceptual design studies and commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience in bringing sophisticated ideas to life. Key skills include:
- Rapidly communicating concepts through freehand sketching.
- Executing high-fidelity 2D/3D renderings.
- Utilizing professional modeling software to build complex concepts (Familiarity with Pro-Engineer/Creo is a plus).
- Exploring and iterating on design alternatives through thumbnails and collaborative critiques.
