Position Summary

The HR Executive serves as a strategic and hands-on HR partner to line managers and employees for the fashion business in COMO Group. This role supports the alignment of people strategies with business objectives, ensuring HR initiatives drive performance, engagement, and a positive workplace culture. The HR Executive is responsible for end-to-end HR operations, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement, while ensuring full compliance with Singapore employment legislation and company policies for the assigned portfolio. Acting as a trusted advisor and employee advocate, the role contributes to building a compliant, high-performing, and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Advisory

• Partner with business leaders and line managers to understand business needs and provide practical HR solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant application of HR policies and practices.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary matters, grievances, performance improvement plans, and workplace conduct in accordance with Singapore employment laws.

Talent Management & Development

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned functions, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire suitable candidates in a timely manner.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new hires and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Support and administer performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback cycles.
• Coach managers and employees on performance-related matters and development planning.
• Assist in identifying training and development needs to support employee growth and business capability.

Employee Engagement & Culture

• Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace well-being.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
• Conduct employee feedback sessions and exit interviews, and recommend follow-up actions based on insights gathered.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employee communications are clearly documented, communicated, and consistently applied.
• Administer employee lifecycle activities including employment contracts, confirmation, transfers, variations, and exits.
• Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and statutory submissions.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation, including the Employment Act, CPF, MOM requirements, and internal governance standards.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within the HRIS.

Projects & Change Management

• Support HR transformation projects and change initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a Singapore-based role.
• Sound knowledge of Singapore employment laws, including the Employment Act, CPF regulations, and MOM guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders across different levels and handle employee relations matters effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
