Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Partner to support us to build our team in Taiwan. The HR Partner drives our mission by working with leaders and employees across the business to ensure Tesla is a great place to work for everyone. Our team achieves results by being driven, innovative, collaborative and trustworthy. This role is both hands-on and strategic and provides expertise in the areas of employee relations, talent and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and ad hoc projects as necessary. Tesla's HR/ Admin Business Partners are passionate about their work and help deliver positive change every day.

Responsibilities

  • Be a leader and credible activist for your clients, your team and our mission; exert influence to create positive change
  • Deliver both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to employees and managers, including talent and development, performance management, organizational design, and employee relations and engagement.
  • Partner effectively with HR centers of excellence including Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Tesla Talent, mobility and local payroll.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and partner with management to develop and implement innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Work with leaders to develop effective organizational structures to drive organizational health.
  • Consult and coach all levels of management to build and serve high performing, diverse and inclusive teams
  • Build credibility and trust among employees; resolve employee concerns with compassion and follow-through.

  • Requirements


  • 8+ years of experience as a HR Partner or in equivalent HR roles (e.g., Talent Development, Leadership Coaching, Employee Relations, Compensation, Recruitment, HR Project Management, or Program Implementation) in the technology or semiconductor industries.
  • Experience objectively coaching employees and management through complex and difficult situations is a plus.
  • Applied knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes for employment. Thorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational development and change management is a plus
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with ability to work in changing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations and make decisions based on data while drawing from previous experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with coaching employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and collaborate with all levels of the organization and positively influence teams
  • Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin.
