Job Description

About the Role

This is a key finance leadership role within Ally Logistic Property (ALP), one of Asia's most dynamic logistics infrastructure platforms with integrated and deep expertise across real estate development and investment, technology, data and automation, and strategic operations.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Assistant Vice President, FP&A will lead a team of 3–5 finance professionals at group headquarters and be responsible for group-wide financial planning, performance reporting, forecasting, and management insights across ALP's multi-country platform.

This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management capabilities, together with the leadership maturity and technology proficiency to build a high-performing team and partner effectively with the CFO and senior stakeholders across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Financial Planning and Forecasting

Lead the group-wide annual budgeting, quarterly forecast, and periodic reforecast processes. Drive measurable business impact and support high level strategic decisions by providing timely, accurate and user-friendly financial insights to the frontline business units, country teams and senior management. Coordinate planning inputs from business units and country finance teams, consolidate submissions, challenge key assumptions where needed, and deliver integrated financial plans and recommendations to the CFO and senior management.

2. Management Reporting and Performance Analysis

Lead the preparation and review of group-level monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports. Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis on business performance, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, with clear commentary to support management decision-making.

3. Dashboard and KPI Management

Design, maintain, and continuously enhance group-level financial dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting frameworks. Ensure the CFO and senior leadership team have clear visibility into key financial, operational, and asset-level performance metrics.

4. Cash Flow Planning and Treasury Support

Prepare and maintain rolling group cash flow forecasts and liquidity views. Support the CFO on working capital monitoring, intercompany funding visibility, and ad hoc cash planning analysis to support short- and medium-term business needs.

5. Financial Reporting Coordination

Coordinate with accounting and finance teams at headquarters and across group entities to support the timely submission of management reporting packages and ensure consistency of reporting inputs for group-level analysis, forecasting, and performance review.

6. Team Leadership and Development

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3–5 finance professionals at group headquarters. Set clear goals and expectations, build strong team discipline and collaboration, and strengthen the team's capabilities to support ALP's growing regional finance needs.

7. Strategic Finance Support

Support the CFO on strategic finance initiatives, including market expansion, asset acquisitions, refinancing, capital planning, board materials, and institutional investor reporting. Prepare clear, concise, and decision-oriented financial analyses and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Experience

  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, with strong exposure to FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and business performance analysis
  • Experience in real estate, logistics, infrastructure, asset-heavy businesses, or multi-entity regional finance environments is highly preferred
  • Prior experience supporting senior management or group-level finance leadership is a strong advantage

Technical Expertise

  • Strong command of financial planning, management reporting, performance analysis, and financial modeling
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools and automation tools within and beyond Excel is highly preferred
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are advantageous

Leadership

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing a small finance team
  • Able to set direction, prioritize effectively, and build a collaborative, accountable, and execution-oriented team culture

Communication

  • Strong ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese
