Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented tax professional to join the Tax team at Morrison Express Headquarters. This role works closely with HQ and regional accounting teams, as well as external tax advisors, to support group-wide tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.

The position provides exposure to international tax matters, cross-border coordination, and regional tax projects, and is suitable for candidates who would like to further develop their career in a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Monitor and support corporate income tax (CIT) compliance for group entities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with local finance teams and external tax advisors to ensure tax filings are prepared accurately and submitted on a timely basis.
  • Assist in global minimum tax (GMT / Pillar 2) analysis, data collection, and reporting in applicable jurisdictions.
  • Support the preparation of tax-related schedules and information required for group reporting.

Transfer Pricing

  • Support the preparation and annual update of transfer pricing documentation and related disclosures.
  • Assist in transfer pricing planning and implementation for intercompany transactions
  • Assist in maintaining transfer pricing policies and supporting documents.

Tax Audit Support

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prepare, review, and consolidate documentation required for tax audits and general inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Track audit status and follow up on action items to ensure timely responses and resolution.

Projects & Other Ad-hoc Supports

  • Support tax aspects of corporate activities such as dividend distributions, intercompany arrangements, and restructuring projects.
  • Maintain tax-related records, filings, and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Assist with ad hoc tax research, analysis, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in finance, accounting, and / or taxation, preferably in a multinational environment or with Big 4 / professional firms.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting cross-border tax matters and coordinating with overseas teams or external advisors is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to indirect tax and/or international tax matters is a strong plus
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external advisors
  • Good command of written and spoken English
