Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Strategy Planning Assistant Manager / Manager to join our team. In this role, you will act as a right hand to the Head of Strategy, providing the data, research, and analytical horsepower needed for decision-making. You will support the development of long-term strategic goals and help monitor the execution of key initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning Support
- Assist the Head of Strategy in managing the annual strategic planning calendar, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Consolidate and organize data inputs from different departments to support the creation of the corporate strategic plan
- Help maintain the company's strategic roadmap by tracking milestones and updating project status reports
Research & Market Analysis
- Conduct primary and secondary research on economic environment, market trends and dynamics, competitor movements, and customer behavior
- Prepare detailed briefing notes and competitive landscape reports for the strategy team
- Monitor industry news and macroeconomic developments, summarizing key findings for leadership review
Financial Modeling & Data Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate growth opportunities, including new market entries and potential partnerships
- Analyze internal performance data to identify areas for operational improvement and cost efficiency
Presentation & Performance Reporting
- Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for the Head of Strategy to use in Board meetings, executive off-sites, and company-wide updates
- Assist in the preparation of monthly result presentation, quarterly management meeting materials and ad hoc analysis presentations
- Track corporate KPIs and OKRs, highlighting variances and performance trends on a monthly/quarterly basis
Education/Technical Skills Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, finance, or a related corporate function
- Experience in equity research / investment banking / logistics industry is highly valued
Skills:
- Analytical: Strong ability to process data and draw logical conclusions; proficiency in financial modeling is a plus
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills (English and Mandarin); ability to distill complex information into clear, concise summaries
- Organization: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
