My client is one of the most successful finance technology company in Hong Kong with businesses stretching across APAC. With recent success, they are expanding their team and is looking for a high calibre leader to lead their technology quality and governance team.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all testing activities across the full software development lifecycle.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in testing execution and drive improvements.
- Ensure system stability, reliability, and readiness before deployment.
- Review and assess the quality of system changes through structured governance processes.
- Conduct datadriven evaluations of pre and postimplementation performance, including defect trends.
- Establish and maintain testing standards, frameworks, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Prepare analytical testing and delivery reports for senior leadership.
- Develop and implement endtoend testing and assurance strategies.
- Drive automation initiatives, including RPA adoption, to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Oversee typeapproval and certification activities, improving standards and operational workflows.
- Shape departmental strategies and promote bestpractice development processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver highquality processes, documentation, audits, and related deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 12 years of handson experience in system analysis, technical testing, and defect management.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle models.
- Analytical and problemsolving mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and managing testing teams.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27001, and other relevant standards.
- Experience with cloud platforms and cloudbased testing is an advantage.
