Job Description:

This role-holder will work with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and the Leadership Team of High Net Worth on developing and refining the long-term vision and strategic goals for the business. This involves conducting market analysis and monitoring performance metrics to assess progress towards objectives.

The role requires collaboration across departments to ensure effective implementation of strategic initiatives and engaging stakeholders to secure their support. Additionally, it involves assessing financial impacts and risks associated with strategic decisions and fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability within the organization. Ultimately, this role is key in guiding the company towards its strategic ambitions.

  • Strategic Planning - Develop and evaluate strategic initiatives to drive business growth and gain competitive advantage identify opportunities and risks that impact long-term organizational objectives
  • Market Research and Intelligence - Conduct comprehensive market analysis monitor industry trends and gather competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision making
  • Business Case Development - Create detailed business cases with financial modeling and implementation recommendations for key strategic initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various functions and Regional Office as appropriate to align strategic initiatives with operational capabilities and organizational objectives
  • Communication: Develop and present compelling strategic narratives and recommendations to the leadership team as well as key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Innovation Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation and identify new growth opportunities

  • In-depth knowledge of insurance or any adjacent financial services industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good influencing skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

Qualifications (heading) / Comptences (titre)

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy consulting preferably from a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain)
  • Strong data-driven decision making skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
  • Exceptional ability to influence stakeholders and present recommendations to senior leadership
