We are looking for a highly driven Head of Sales to lead our business development efforts and accelerate revenue growth in the Taiwan market. This is a hands-on player-coach role. You will personally drive key deals and strategic partnerships while leading and mentoring the local sales team to consistently achieve ambitious revenue targets. The ideal candidate is both a strong commercial leader and a top individual contributor, someone who enjoys being in the market, pitching to clients, closing complex deals, and building a high-performance sales culture. You will report to the VP of Growth and work closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams across APAC.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Own Taiwan Sales Performance: Drive overall revenue growth in Taiwan by consistently delivering against ambitious sales targets and pipeline goals.
- Lead from the Front: Personally manage and close high-value opportunities and strategic partnerships with major brands and agencies.
- Develop Strategic Accounts: Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and marketing leaders across key enterprise clients.
- Pipeline Development: Ensure a healthy and predictable pipeline by driving new business acquisition and expanding existing accounts.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead the Entire Taiwan Team: Manage, mentor, and develop the Taiwan BD/AM/AE teams to maximize performance and accountability.
- Drive a High-Performance Sales Culture: Set clear goals, track KPIs, and coach the team to consistently improve win rates, deal size, and sales productivity.
- Recruit & Develop Talent: Support hiring, onboarding, and development of strong commercial talent as the team grows.
Market Development & Collaboration
- Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of the Taiwan digital marketing landscape, competitive dynamics, and client needs.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Product, Growth, and Customer Success teams to ensure strong campaign outcomes and long-term client retention.
- Strategic Input: Provide market insights and commercial feedback to regional leadership to refine product offerings and growth strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within AdTech, MarTech, SaaS, Digital Marketing, or Platform businesses
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
- Strong experience in enterprise sales and strategic partnerships
- People management experience with the ability to lead and coach a BD/sales team
- Demonstrated ability to personally close complex, high-value deals
- Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
- Highly self-driven with strong ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
