Head of IT Vendor and Contract Management
Position Responsibilities:
Drives ongoing vendor management initiatives including periodic executive briefings, vendor reviews, risk management, vendor compliance, performance management, issue resolution, service delivery, and cost optimization.
Cultivates and maintain s positive relationships with IT vendors.
Builds out the governance model for top tier IT vendors in partnership with key business partners.
Facilitates, optimizes, and standardizes IT vendor performance management tool kits, metrics/KPI identification, measurement tools, scorecards and reporting/feedback mechanisms to ensure vendors are delivering maximum value.
Performs IT vendor billing audits and lead vendor spend reviews to help identify incorrect or unwanted vendor billing practices.
Analyzes internal organization vendor costs against environmental / market forces to gain competitive advantage and reduce organization costs.
Develops and maintains procedure documentation for the vendor management processes.
Partners with Procurement to manage service level agreement contracts, ensure vendors compliance with the organization's policies and operating procedures.
Executes on the vendor management structure and team that enables a cost-effective program to maximize performance and savings without compromising service levels and experience.
Utilizes technology, analytics and digital capabilities to lower cost of doing business and enhance the user experience for the organization, their customers, and business partners.
Leads projects or programs with notable risk and/or complexity with diverse and sometimes conflicting interest groups develops strategy / plan for project or program execution and actively manages its deployment
Works within general functional or business policies, business plans and industry guidelines
Interprets business challenges and market best practices to recommend actions that improve products, processes or services.
Required Qualifications:
15 years of experience in IT Management with direct Vendor Management experience
Strong understanding of contract terms and their legal implications and vendor performance metrics
Drives excellent performance through continuous improvement, simplification, and a data-driven approach to end-to-end processes
Strong knowledge of vendor management leading practices and processes
Collaborative mindset, fostering teamwork and effective cross-functional relationships
