Job Overview:

The Head of Business Department is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of commercial operations, strategic partnerships, market development, and business growth initiatives across Wistron Medical Technology's OBM product lines and regions. This role leads the development and execution of growth strategies, aligns business functions, and works closely with the product, marketing, and regional teams to drive sustainable performance and long-term value creation.

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded strategist and team builder who thrives in dynamic, cross-border healthcare markets and can align internal resources and external partnerships toward shared business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Strategic Business Planning & Growth Execution

Develop and lead the commercial strategy across all business lines (e.g., exoskeleton, AI monitoring systems, smart care solutions).

Define and execute annual business goals, P&L targets, go-to-market roadmaps, and market expansion plans.

Identify new markets, channels, and strategic opportunitiesincluding geographic expansion, partnership models, and new service lines (e.g., RaaS/OaaS).

Lead cross-functional alignment between product, R&D, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure coherent execution.

2.Partnerships & Market Development

Build and manage strategic partnerships, distributor networks, channel alliances, and key customer relationships.

Lead high-level negotiations with global distributors, hospitals, health systems, or rehabilitation networks.

Drive public-private collaborations and co-development opportunities aligned with healthcare trends and reimbursement pathways.

Oversee the identification, onboarding, and performance management of regional partners.

3.Business Operations & Cross-Functional Leadership

Lead and coach direct reports across commercial functions, including regional business leads, sales managers, and business analysts.

Collaborate with corporate functions (finance, legal, regulatory, marketing, R&D) to ensure commercial readiness and compliance.

Ensure efficient business processes, reporting standards, and KPI dashboards are implemented and actively reviewed.

Establish mechanisms to align local execution with corporate business strategies and global priorities.

4.Financial Management & Performance Tracking

Own revenue forecasting, market performance analysis, and commercial budgeting for assigned business units.

Monitor performance metrics such as revenue, gross margin, channel performance, and customer retention.

Present regular business reviews and strategic insights to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.

5.Global & Regional Alignment

Represent the business unit in global coordination meetings, partner summits, and international trade events.

Support regional go-to-market planning in priority markets (e.g., Taiwan, Japan & etc).

Align subsidiary business plans with HQ direction, ensuring cultural and operational adaptability across geographies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Healthcare Management, Marketing or a related field; MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership, business development, or general management, with proven success in healthcare or medical device sectors.
  • Experience working in multinational, cross-cultural environments with distributed teams and partner networks.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare sales models, reimbursement systems, and regulatory frameworks across key markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional languages (e.g., Japanese) are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for business execution and partner engagement.
