Hardware Engineer (Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager)

Our client, a well-known Japanese company is currently looking for a Hardware Engineer (Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for development of electronics hardware for industrial controller products
2. Engage in development activities including design/implementation of circuits, troubleshooting of designs, conducting validation/compliance tests, and creation of design/product documentation
3. Manage existing products with quality improvement, feature enhancement, cost optimization, customization etc
4. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define technical requirements and scope project deliverables

Requirements

1. Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualification
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in related role for Hardware development
3. Experience designing electrical circuits and printed circuit boards for hardware systems with expertise in analog design(using components such as DACs, ADCs, Power Management circuit (including isolated power supply), Digital Input/Output circuit design
4. Demonstrated skills in the hardware development process, including circuit simulation & design, component de-rating, hardware debug & release
5. Experience with electronic hardware design tools such as schematic capture (Mentor Graphics or similar), PCB design, timing analysis, and signal integrity
6. Demonstrated skills in of EMC/EMI noise prevention/reduction techniques
7. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, clients, and team members
