Redpath Partners are exclusively mandated with the Hong Kong office of a Global Alternative Investment Manager to source a the Greater China lead for the Institutional Private Markets Distribution Team.
This individual will support fundraising efforts in Greater China across the firms product platform - Private Credit, Private Equity and Real Estate. This role provide opportunity to experience working within a leading investment firm that manages investments across alternative asset classes with a proven track record.
Key Responsibilities:
Institutional Relationship Development:
- Establish and nurture relationships with leading Insurers, Pension funds, and institutional investors across Greater China
- Conduct investor engagement, product presentations, and ongoing relationship management
- Identify and prioritize target institutional investors with significant capital deployment capacity
- Develop tailored product solutions aligned with investor mandates and return objectives
Capital Raising & Business Development:
- Lead capital raising efforts across product suite including private credit, real estate, and alternative assets
- Achieve fundraising targets aligned with Asia distribution strategy and business plan
- Develop investor pipelines and manage deal flow through to capital commitment
- Negotiate investment terms and structures with institutional clients
Required Qualifications- Minimum 10+ years of institutional asset distribution experience in alternative assets (private credit, real estate, hedge funds, or similar)
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors
- Existing network of relationships with major institutional investors in Greater China
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and English
- Deep understanding of Greater China market dynamics, regulatory environment, and investor preferences
- Knowledge of insurance and pension fund investment frameworks
- Strong business acumen in fundraising, product development, and institutional investor requirements
