Duties

The Department of English is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. The appointee will provide teaching support for instructors of literature and cultural studies courses, such as developing teaching materials, supporting course administration, and grading student assignments. The appointee is also expected to carry out other administrative duties as assigned by course coordinators and the department.

Requirements

A Master's degree in English Literature/English Studies/Comparative Literature. The appointee is expected to have excellent command of English, and good interpersonal and communication skills. He/she is expected to work independently as well as in a team. Knowledge of Learning Management System such as Canvas is preferred.
