My client, a HK based supply chain & logistics company with strong presence in e-commerce space, is looking for a high calibre Golang Engineer to join their successful IT team here in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend microservices for mission‑critical systems
- Contribute to system architecture with focus on scalability, reliability, and security
- Develop, deploy, and operate cloud‑based applications
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality features
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of backend or full‑stack development experience on large‑scale systems
- 1+ year of hands‑on Golang experience with strong understanding of Go concurrency
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Experience with microservices and RESTful/RPC APIs
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Cloud and DevOps experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
- Experience applying AI tools to accelerate development is an advantage
- Fluent in Cantonese, proficient in English and Mandarin
