As an Associate in Business Management, you will support senior APAC business managers with strategic planning, governance, and reporting. You'll contribute to cross-country and cross-segment initiatives, manage key deliverables, and help drive process improvements and automation. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to work on regional and global projects, supporting integration efforts and enabling ongoing business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a support partner to senior regional business managers on strategic initiatives, projects, and business priorities across APAC
- Coordinate and collaborate with segment and country business managers, Planning & Analysis teams, and product partners to drive business-as-usual and ad-hoc activities
- Prepare and deliver strategic analyses and financial presentations for regional and segment initiatives, including business reviews, resource allocation, and budget processes
- Analyze and report key business trends, themes, and performance metrics to senior management
- Manage financial projects such as forecasting, revenue reconciliation, and balance sheet reviews
- Partner with Planning & Analysis, strategy, and central teams to ensure accurate business analytics, financial reporting, and forecasting
- Collaborate with regional and global business management teams to deliver on regional and global objectives
- Work closely with functional groups to support and advance the risk and control agenda for the business
- Develop, maintain, and review financial models and analyses (recurring and ad-hoc)
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, including dashboarding and automation, to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making
- Support integration efforts and enable ongoing business growth
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in finance, business management, or strategy roles within financial services
- Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment
- Skilled in data-driven decision making, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros) and experience creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations. Quick to understand complex issues, with a curious and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to present analytical findings in a clear, executive-ready format
- Strong execution skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines
- Capable of working independently, making proactive recommendations, and prioritizing effectively under pressure. Flexible and adaptable, able to work on diverse projects with teams across regions, levels, and functions
- Sound understanding of risks and controls, with a drive to improve processes and resolve issues. Forward-thinking, able to anticipate future needs and challenges
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, and Xceptor
- Experience working in a global financial institution
- Knowledge of APAC markets and regulatory environment
- Fluency in an Asian language
