The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Drive the formulation and execution of comprehensive asset management and property rejuvenation strategies to maximise long-term portfolio value
Lead high-impact leasing projects and secure an optimal tenant mix to generate financial and social value across URA's asset portfolio
Cultivate robust relationships with diverse stakeholders, and implement placemaking initiatives that enrich community engagement and add value to URA's projects and properties
Establish and uphold effective operational models for asset and property management, oversee end-to-end tendering processes and champion best practices to ensure operational excellence and properties long-term value
Foster strategic partnerships and generate sustainable value for joint-ventur e properties through drafting commercial management agreements and overseeing asset governance
Maintain comprehensive oversight of regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance across all leasing, placemaking, and property operations
Requirements:
Degree holder in Business, Marketing, Arts and Cultural Management, Engineering, Surveying, Property Management or related disciplines
At least 15 years of relevant work experience, comprising a minimum of 10 years at a senior managerial capacity in leasing, marketing, event and/or property management within sizable organisations
Comprehensive expertise in asset management, leasing, property rejuvenation, and placemaking, combining sharp commercial acumen with a strong commitment to social responsibility and sustainable urban development
Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain effective networks and relationships with stakeholders including but not limited to arts and cultural groups, academia, designers, community partners, commercial tenants etc.
Strong leadership, project management, innovative thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent command of verbal and written Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
