Description

Our client is a fast-growing financial services and technology platform with an expanding presence across Southeast Asia. Due to continued business growth, the company is seeking a hands-on and technically strong Financial Controller to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will oversee the company's accounting and financial control functions across multiple markets. You will manage month-end and year-end close activities, group consolidations, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. A key focus of the role will be driving process improvements and maximizing the effectiveness of the company's ERP platform to enhance reporting efficiency and controls. You will also oversee treasury and cash flow activities, support tax and statutory compliance, manage external audit relationships, and provide leadership to a lean finance team to ensure accurate and scalable finance operations.

Qualifications

Degree qualified with a professional accounting qualification such as CA Singapore, CPA, or ACCA, you possess 7-10 years of accounting and finance experience gained from a combination of audit and commercial environments. Experience within fintech, financial services, lending, banking, or credit-related businesses would be advantageous. You bring strong technical accounting capabilities, hands-on experience in group consolidations and financial reporting, as well as proven Oracle NetSuite experience. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
