Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, delivering accurate management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis.
Own end‑to‑end controllership including GL, AP, AR, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit‑ready documentation.
Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, bank relationships, and working capital optimisation.
Manage insurance brokerage accounting, including commission income recognition, receivables, payables, and billing accuracy.
Lead statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory compliance across HK, SG, and CN, acting as primary contact for auditors and regulators.
Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness using Big 4 best practices.
Act as a key stakeholder in ERP system implementation and finance process automation.
Drive continuous process improvement and collaborate closely with regional finance, operations, compliance, IT, and external service providers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
8-12+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally within insurance brokerage, insurance, or regulated financial services.
Big 4 audit background strongly preferred, particularly candidates with 2-4 years of assurance experience followed by an industry transition.
Strong hands‑on experience in financial controllership, reporting, treasury operations, and audit management.
Proven treasury experience including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, bank relationships, and understanding of FX and intercompany funding.
Experience leading or participating in ERP implementations or major finance system upgrades, with strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes and controls.
Strong technical accounting and control knowledge with high attention to detail and a disciplined, structured approach.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
