Finance Specialist

About This Role

As a Finance Specialist, you will ensure accurate accounting operations and smooth cash flow for daily business activities. The role works closely with internal teams and merchants, while supporting audits, tax filings, and regional finance operations.

What you will do:

- Responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions of the company including billings to customers

- Bookkeeping, month-end closing and reports preparation

- Manage the company's AR and AP

- Investigate and reply to merchants billing and disbursement queries

- Assist with cashflow forecast for daily operations

- Assist with yearly audit and tax

Support and ensure compliance to local accounting and taxation filing requirements such as annual returns, corporate tax, Value-Added Tax (VAT) and withholding tax filing

- Responsible for admin and office-related matters

- Supporting other countries finance operation as and when required

- Ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor and management

Who we are looking for:

- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Finance / Accounting or related discipline

- Knowledge of Wanpie ERP System is an advantage

- Comes with more than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity or accounting firm

- High integrity and possess a great sense of ownership, taking pride in your work

- Possess logical thinking and good at numbers

- Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented

- Open-minded, eager to learn and able to thrive in a fast-paced and highly agile environment

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Good team player and willingness to share knowledge and experiences with team members
