Job Description

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for S&A spending monthly actual , forecast and budget / GB and perform relative analysis and reporting
Responsible for Functional Spending monthly update, budget/GB and perform relative analysis and reporting
Maintain and update Division charge-out rules
Provide support to S&A dept heads on monthly spending reports and dept expense tracking
Collect and consolidate Division S&A project updates
Ad hoc financial analysis in support of division

Experiences/Education - Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
MBA and/or CPA preferred
8+ years of relevant experience
Proven knowledge of US GAAP
Complete understanding and application of principles. Full knowledge of industry practices.
Controller experience (within or outside Corning) is a plus

Required Skills

Strong financial and accounting background
Deep understanding of financial controls
Ability to be interacting and communicating well with all aspects of the business including but not limited senior managers
Strong Excel & PowerPoint Skills
Ability to be creative in providing financial solutions to business leaders.
