Job Description

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for S&A spending monthly actual, forecast and budget/GB and perform relative analysis and reporting
  • Responsible for Functional Spending monthly update, budget/GB and perform relative analysis and reporting
  • Maintain and update Division charge-out rules
  • Provide support to S&A dept heads on monthly spending reports and dept expense tracking
  • Collect and consolidate Division S&A project updates
  • Ad hoc financial analysis in support of division

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven knowledge of US GAAP
  • Complete understanding and application of principles. Full knowledge of industry practices.
  • Controller experience (within or outside Corning) is a plus

Required Skills:

  • Strong financial and accounting background
  • Deep understanding of financial controls
  • Ability to be interacting and communicating well with all aspects of the business including but not limited senior managers
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint Skills
  • Ability to be creative in providing financial solutions to business leaders.
