The Finance Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing daily finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, monthly closing, tax filing support, statutory reporting, internal control and accounting process governance.
This role acts as the key process owner for finance operatins, ensuring accurate accounting records, timely closing, proper payment control, compliance with company policies and statutory requirements and effective coordination with business functions, autitors, tax advisors, shared service teams, and internal stakeholders.
The position is also responsible for leading and developing the finance/accounting team, driving process improvement, strengthening control disciplie, and escalating material risks or exceptions to the Head of Finance & Administration where management attention is required.
Main Tasks
Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, G, payment processing, vendor/customer master coordination, intercompany reconciliation, and accounting issue follow-up
Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensure timely completion of accounting entries, reconcilations, balance sheet reviews, accruals, provisions, and reporting schedules.
Review payment rpoposals, monitor payment readiness, ensure proper supporting documents and approvals, and coordinate with Treasury or relevant parties for payment execution
Coorindate tax filing support, statutory reporting, external audit, internal audit, and other compliance-related finance requirement
Ensure finance processes comply with company polcieis, DOA, internal control requirements, Group guidance, and audit expectations. Identify control gaps and support corrective actions
Drive improvements in finance workflows, automation, SAP/process efficiency, documentation quality, and control transparency.
Lead, coach, and supervise finance/accounting team members, ensure clear task ownership, workload balance, backup planning, and performance development
Work with BU, HR, Legal, Sales, Supply Chain, auditors, tax advisors, and shared service teams. Escalate material accounting, payment, tax, control, or compliance issues to the Head of F&A when needed.
Education
BA and 5 years of management experience or MA and 10years of management experience, preferred in the field of a Shared service center. University degree in Finance, Accounting Qualification Certification
