Your New Role
Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Lead product costing activities, including standard cost setting, cost roll-ups, and ongoing cost analysis to ensure accurate inventory valuation and profitability reporting.
Analyze key manufacturing cost drivers such as material costs, labor, depreciation, yield, and overhead absorption, providing recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
Identify and drive cost-reduction initiatives while partnering with operations to support process improvements and make-or-buy decisions.
Develop financial models and perform financial analysis to support strategic planning, business growth, and management decision-making.
Prepare timely and accurate management reports, dashboards, and presentations, providing insights into financial and operational performance.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, GST requirements, and internal policies, while coordinating external audits and statutory filings.
Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, banking relationships, and liquidity management.
Establish and strengthen internal controls, monitor key financial and operational KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business performance.
Key Qualifications for Success
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry, including team management responsibilities.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including counterparts based in China.
Proficient in SQL and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing, coaching, and developing team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
Proactive, well-organized, and meticulous, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential business and financial information.
