Finance Manager (Tuas/Manufacturing/CAPEX/Costing) LT2

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and month-end closing.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage all banking-related matters.

• Process intercompany billings and reconcile intercompany balances.

• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Cash Flow schedules, including supporting reconciliations.

• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.

• Lead corporate tax matters and coordinate with external tax agents where required.

• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax agents, and relevant government authorities.

• Coordinate and support the annual statutory audit process.

• Calculate and account for foreign exchange gains and losses.

• Support semi-annual fixed asset verification and manage fixed asset tagging and records.

• Liaise closely with HQ Finance on accounting and financial reporting matters.

• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to HQ in accordance with reporting timelines and requirements.

Costing, Planning & Analysis

• Manage financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes.

• Maintain and review standard costing and product margin calculations.

• Perform financial performance and variance analysis, providing meaningful insights and commentary to management.

• Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

• Manage Precious Metal (PM) transactions, including refining activities and PM gain/loss calculations.

• Oversee financial tracking and control of CAPEX projects.

• Manage COO cost statement applications, renewals, and updates.

• Lead the costing month-end closing process and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
