Job Description

About the role:

  • Support the delivery of the clients annual budget and monthly forecasting for Taiwan
  • Working closely with operations teams to build and validate annual bottom-up budgets.
  • Identification of potential risks impacting the full year budget and capturing those within monthly forecasts
  • Ensure the timely completion of all month-end accounting and finance related tasks (accruals, review and preparation of government subsidy allocations, payment processing etc), including the provision of information to client stakeholders for situations in which a dependency exists.
  • Drive efficiency and productivity through the standardisation and optimisation of processes where appropriate.
  • Encourage and develop a culture of knowledge sharing to facilitate a best practice approach to client delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all necessary SOX audit controls.
  • Provide clear and concise commercial and financial advice to stakeholders at all levels to facilitate an enhanced level of decision making (acting as proactive business partners working closely with operations).
  • Provision of billing support and receivables management from a Cushman & Wakefield corporate perspective.
  • Provision of budgeting and forecasting support from a Cushman & Wakefield corporate perspective.
  • Provision of mentoring and support to internal customers from all streams including direct reports.
  • Provision and maintenance of substantiating documentation to support balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Solve complex issues (including taxation), address ad hoc internal and client requests and make recommendations on resolutions in the event of escalations.
  • Working closely with operations teams to ensure vendor compliance as it relates to the timely submission of invoices.
  • Working across multiple financial systems to carry out the above tasks.

About you:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting
  • Strong ability to manage large datasets and high transaction volumes with accuracy.
  • Skilled at handling ambiguity and problem-solving in dynamic environments.
  • Proficient in Power BI, with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tool skills.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager and working with remote teams (advantageous).
  • Proven track record in finance management / senior property accounting (45 years+).
  • Exposure to highly commercial environments and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in process improvement, productivity enhancement, and business partnering.
  • Strong focus on stakeholder relationship management and proactive engagement.
  • Business-level English proficiency with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated team management experience is an advantage.
