Client's business - trusted supplier of premium stone products, catering to a wide spectrum of clients across residential and commercial projects. Committed to excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Workplace Location - located in Pioneer area, nearest Boon Lay MRT (EW27) is 19 mins away.

Working hours - Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm

Role Summary

Our Client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & HR Executive to support the company's financial and human resource functions. The role will be primarily focused on Finance and Accounts (70%), with the remaining 30% dedicated to HR administration and support. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in accounting and finance, preferably with experience in the manufacturing or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounts (70%)

  • Manage full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Process payments, staff claims, and supplier invoices.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor project costing, job costing, and cost control activities (where applicable).
  • Support year-end audit and tax filing processes.

Human Resources (30%)

  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding activities. (this is a mid size company ( 25 staff), work in this area is not voluminous)
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and statutory submissions.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Monitor leave administration, attendance records, and employee benefits.
  • Support performance appraisal and training administration.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
  • Assist in employee engagement and HR-related initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Finance and Accounts.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing or Construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Exposure to payroll and HR administration functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Profile

  • Solid background in both Accounting and Finance functions.
  • Hands-on experience in cost control, project costing, or manufacturing costing.
  • Comfortable handling both finance operations and HR administrative responsibilities.
  • Meticulous, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Work Allocation:

Finance & Accounts: 70%

Human Resources: 30%
