FEA Meshing Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality 2D/3D meshes using HyperMesh & ANSA

- Prepare FE models for sheet metal, weldments, castings, and assemblies

- Perform geometry cleanup, midsurface extraction, and mesh validation

- Support analysts with material assignment, properties, contacts & boundary conditions

- Collaborate on CAD interaction (Pro-E/CREO) and highlight manufacturability concerns

- Ensure compliance with Caterpillar & industry meshing standards

Required Skills

- Proficiency in HyperMesh, ANSA

- Basic knowledge of ABAQUS / NASTRAN / FLUENT / STAR-CCM+

- Understanding of structural components & welded assemblies
