Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Document and standardize maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide technical support and continuous improvement for daily maintenance and turnaround activities.
- Worked in direct plant operations and/or maintenance work environments.
- Monitor maintenance processes in SAP.
- Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, construction or modification work, and required materials/services in compliance with regulations and supplier/engineering/government requirements.
- Assess work requests for technical feasibility and cost in the Maintenance Management System and submit for approval.
- Create approved work orders with labor hours, third-party services, and material lists.
- Coordinate with other departments to prepare short-, medium-, and long-term maintenance schedules and update them in the system.
- Report technical completion of tasks and work orders in the system.
- Manage standard tasks and maintenance intervals for preventive and corrective work.
- Adjust maintenance grouping and intervals based on equipment condition or production requirements.
- Propose improvements, participate in failure investigations, and support reliability analysis.
- Guide personnel in technical preparation, maintenance, or construction work when required.
- Review spare parts, maintain proper inventory, and ensure good housekeeping in the department and work areas.
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical engineering or related engineering.
- Minimum >3 years of related technical experience in maintenance, repair, and improvement.
- Ability to analyse system failure, troubleshoot, and resolve problems during failure situations.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment for maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and principles.
- Good attitude to learn new skills and continue improvement in daily ops work.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as needed.
- Experience using SAP and knowledge of maintenance processes are a strong plus.
