Founder-Led Personal Brand (Strategy, Content & Distribution)
Role Overview
We're looking for a Personal Branding Assistant to own the day-to-day execution of a founder's personal brand across platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, short-form video (Reels/TikTok), and newsletters.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, content production, editing, and copywriting. You'll work closely with the founder to turn raw ideas, conversations, and experiences into clear, high-quality content that builds credibility, trust, and long-term audience growth.
This is not a posting or scheduling role. You'll be responsible for shaping the narrative, maintaining quality, and making sure the brand actually stands for something.
Core Responsibilities
Personal Brand Strategy
- Help define and maintain the founder's content pillars, positioning, and point of view
- Translate business goals into a clear content strategy focused on authority, trust, visibility, and inbound opportunities
- Identify recurring themes from meetings, conversations, and daily work that are worth turning into content
- Continuously refine tone, messaging, and differentiation based on audience response
Content Production & Ideation
- Turn raw inputs such as voice notes, Looms, meetings, transcripts, and rough ideas into:
- LinkedIn posts
- Short-form video scripts
- YouTube video outlines
- Newsletter drafts
- Proactively pitch content ideas including hooks, angles, and series concepts
- Build and manage a content calendar that balances consistency with relevance
Copywriting
- Write clear, confident, and human copy in the founder's voice
- Create strong hooks, openings, and calls to action without sounding salesy
- Adapt long-form thinking into short-form, platform-native copy
- Edit and refine drafts to be sharp, concise, and intentional
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit short-form videos for LinkedIn, Reels, and TikTok with a strong sense of pacing and storytelling
- Cut long-form content into high-impact clips
- Add captions, titles, and light motion graphics where needed
- Maintain a consistent visual and editorial style across platforms
Distribution & Optimization
- Publish and manage content across platforms
- Understand platform nuances, especially LinkedIn and YouTube
- Track basic performance metrics and spot patterns
- Suggest improvements to hooks, formats, and posting cadence
What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience
- Strong copywriting and editing skills in English (near-native level required)
- Experience with personal brands, founders, or thought leadership content
- Comfortable with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut
- Strong sense of storytelling, structure, and clarity
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Mindset & Traits
- Thinks in outcomes, not just tasks
- Can take messy, unstructured input and turn it into something sharp
- Understands nuance, tone, and positioning
- Cares deeply about quality and consistency
- Comfortable working closely with a founder and giving thoughtful feedback
