The appointee will work closely with the Programme Director(s), the Head of Administration and the TPg Team Administrative Lead, and will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and development of self-financed programmes in the School. Duties include (a) serving as the line supervisor of the self-financed programme team (b) managing and organising the delivery of self-financed programmes (Taught Postgraduate Programmes, professional programmes and short training courses) and seminars (c) supporting the planning, development and marketing of programmes/ courses, as well as student and alumni activities (d) providing support to students on programme/ course-related matters and enquiries (e) offering administrative support to the Programme Director(s) and the division (f) assisting in budget planning and financial reporting for programmes and (g) undertaking committee work and other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: (iii) at least 5 years post-qualification executive experience in programme administration and promotion, preferably at a tertiary institution (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (v) excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills (vi) strong adaptability and leadership skills (vii) the ability to work independently under tight deadlines and pressure (viii) an outgoing, positive and can-do work attitude and (ix) a high level of computer literacy. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
