Executive Officer II

The appointee will provide executive support to Programme Co-Directors in co-ordinating both self-financed and in-service teacher education programmes. Duties include (a) providing comprehensive administrative support for academic programmes, including promotion, admissions, course scheduling, course management, budgeting, event co-ordination, student services, teacher assistance, evaluation and monitoring, quality assurance, and related assignments (b) providing secretarial services for programme committees (c) compiling proposals and reports (d) offering professional support in the revision, development and implementation of educational programmes and (e) performing other tasks as assigned. Work outside regular office hours or at weekends may be required.

Applicants should have (i) a recognised Bachelor's degree (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements as set out on the website: (iii) at least 5 years post-qualification executive experience (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (v) advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (vi) strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills and (vii) meticulous attentiveness to detail, a high sense of responsibility and a positive attitude. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
